Tableau is a low cost spreadsheet program with the following
capabilities:
It can handle numerical data, integer or floating point also
strings typically used as column or row headers, addresses, names
etc.
Formulae, used in conjunction with the above numerical data and
built in functions, allows the manipulation of the numerical data
into a more useful form.
Presentation, the spreadsheet can place borders lines and headers
around the data and results. Cells can also be colored.
Graphs, Pie charts, bar charts, three dimensional bar charts and
three dimensional line charts are produced from data within the
spreadsheet.
Text, significant amounts of text are entered in text windows
positioned within the spreadsheet.
Printing, the spreadsheet can be printed (WYSIWYG).
